WHO CAN BE A MEMBER
A member should be a Ghanaian resident in the United States or Canada, or has a relationship with a Ghanaian. A member who relocates retains full benefit so long as they adhere to the rules and regulations of the association as per the constitution. Membership shall be determined on an individual basis. An Individual seeking membership must complete an application form, and pay the specified enrollment fee.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER:
Applicants seeking membership shall be required to be referred by a member and will need to pass a health questionnaire and be within the specified age bracket. An applicant may be admitted as a member of the association after their membership application with a nonrefundable registration fee of fifty dollars ($50) has been received and accepted. Each member of a family shall register individually. Application for membership shall be made on the association’s prescribed application form.
MEMBERSHIP CELLS/GROUPINGS:
Due to our large size, the membership shall be grouped into cells which will enable individual members to be heard when there is an important issue to be discussed. Each cell/group shall be headed by assigned officers of the association. Every member’s contribution counts and is very important.
